A useful fact for those working with not so powerful machines. Gitlens is both a memory and a CPU hog, so if you're not needing to commit your changes right away or see the file history or see the git blame live (eg working on a local feature branch) a good idea may be turning it off for a while. Gitlens is great until it has to handle a large project.
