MHO is that it is not a problem of Tailwind itself and all the hype around it. It's about what you want to achieve when deploying the website your working on. I hate Tailwind's verbosity, but I plainly love the size of the resulting CSS without doing extra critical CSS extraction + purging + tricks when you're using dynamic styled components. And a minimal sized CSS is a thing that may keep end users engaged, as a performant site will load really fast.
But that's me using Tailwind.
