That's an eternal struggle between frontend developers and designers. Most of the times beautiful website design is really hard to code, and forget about pixel perfection. And unless there's a good understanding between both (designers and developers) the chance of having a non-developer friendly code generated by designers is really big (which leads to late project delivery and other problems but that's another story).
